She is on the board of the Oslo Holocaust Center and a member of the Info-Middle East group that deals with the media's presentation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. For many years, Norway has been considered a country friendly to both the Jews and Israel. Recently, however, its image has been tarnished by a variety of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish actions and statements from several leading Norwegian institutions, the media and various personalities.
