September 11: Its Implications for American Jewry
February 16, 2003 |
Dr. Steven Windmueller
Martin Buber wrote: "Each Jew represents the mirror image of the collective soul of the Jewish people." In recent times, we have described ourselves as a proud people, assured of our place in the modern world. But the events of September 11 left us numbed and confused as to its meaning and message.

Col. Daniel Reisner
,
Amb. Alan Baker

Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and the War on Terrorism
November 26, 2002 |
Mordechai Abir

Saudi per capita income has fallen from about $23,000 in the early 1980s to about $7,000 last year. Prince Abdallah has attempted to reform the Saudi economy and reduce expenditures on subsidies and perks, including the costly stipends paid to 7,000 royal princes.
