Thanks to everyone who came to the first Annual Jerusalem Center Student Seminar in February. More than 25 students who will be returning to campuses abroad in fall 2014 took part. The full-day seminar featured sessions with Jerusalem Center fellows, Amb. Alan Baker; Lt.-Col. (ret.) Mickey Segall and Yossi Kuperwasser, Director of the Israel Government Office of Strategic Affairs as well as workshops with communications and strategy experts,  Dr. Yitzhak Mansdorf and Daniel Rubenstein.

The seminar received positive feedback in the evaluations sent to participants. “I wish I would have known about your resources before I wrote my term paper in January,” wrote one student.

Students are invited to submit papers to the 2014 Jerusalem Center Student Essay Competition. We welcome essays in English from students at post-secondary institutions across the globe relating to the topic of “Security and Diplomatic Challenges Facing the State of Israel.” The winning essay will be published in Jewish Political Studies Review and featured on the Student page of the JCPA website. Second and third place essays will be published on the Student page.
