In 1976, at the age of 21, he opened his first Rami Levy wholesale supermarket in Jerusalem’s Mahane Yehuda Market. Levy has since built a multimillion-dollar chain of discount supermarkets, and has diversified his business to include cellular communications, real estate development, and shopping malls.
