MK Begin on Israeli Gestures to a Peace Agreement
MK Beni Begin discusses the concessions Israel has made toward negotiations with the Palestinians, including turning over almost all of Judea and Samaria and a building freeze, all which were refused by Palestinian Authority leader Abu Mazen as insufficient. He calls for international pressure to move toward direct negotiations without preconditions.

MK Ze’ev Binyamin Begin (Benny Begin) is currently Minister without Portfolio and a member of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s forum of seven senior ministers. Currently serving his fourth term, he first served in the Knesset as a Likud MK from 1988 until 1997. During this period he was a member of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee as well as Minister of Science. He returned to the Knesset in 2009.
