Letter from Ambassador Dore Gold

Dear Family and Friends of the Jerusalem Center,

It is a pleasure to wish you a New Year of blessings and good health.

This has been a fruitful year at the Jerusalem Center. We have launched pathbreaking applied diplomacy initiatives to fight the Apartheid libel together with the U.S.-based Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel and major Black American community leaders. We have signed agreements and are closely cooperating with policy institutes in the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco on combatting shared national security threats, particularly from the Iranian regime. We have issued monographs and held briefings and consultations further exposing Palestinian Authority financial incentives for terrorists and their families. Finally, we heartily congratulate Jerusalem Center scholar Fiamma Nirenstein on the occasion of the Center’s recent publication of her latest book, Jewish Lives Matter, that for the first time calls the international human rights community to account for weaponizing human rights against Israel and offers a path to reclaim the global human rights agenda.

The unprecedented challenges the Jerusalem Center, Israel, and the Jewish people confront has brought me to decide to dedicate 100% of my time to these major issues. In that regard, after 22 years I will be stepping back from my daily responsibilities as President of the Jerusalem Center. As of November 30, 2022, I will be stepping into the position of the Jerusalem Center’s President Emeritus. Our Board of Directors is in the process of choosing my successor, who will be highly qualified in both professional abilities and personal qualities.

In my over two decades as President of the Jerusalem Center, it has been a privilege to lead this institute to a position of Israeli and international prominence, leading on critical issues surrounding Israel’s national security and its rights-based standing in the Middle East and the West. Our record is reflected in the attached report, Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs: Action and Impact in Israel and Around the World. Our top researchers and analysts continue to guide path-breaking initiatives such as:

Wishing you a sweet 5783 and ktiva ve chatima tova,

Dore Gold

Canada investigating Israeli-Canadian IDF soldiers?
JCFA senior researcher, Amb. Alan Baker slams the probe as a “political PR stunt with no legal basis.” “This isn’t justice—it’s a betrayal. Canada is siding with PLO propaganda over facts.”

What makes a child believe killing a #Jew is justified?

In PA textbooks, Jews are called liars and frauds; their fate: elimination. This is #indoctrination—not #education. But change is happening. On East to West, @IMPACT_SE CEO Marcus Sheff exposes how #UNRWA-funded schools are fueling extremism—and what real reform looks like.  Listen now on Spotify: open.spotify.com/show/2JHqh973U  Watch on YouTube: youtu.be/8OkJTGNfVUc

Highlights from the @Jerusalem_Post Annual Conference in NYC:

Dr. @Dan_Diker, President of the JCFA: “October 7 wasn’t just an attack on Israel — it was a blow to the U.S. on Israeli soil. It demands moral clarity and a united front between Israel and the U.S. to defeat jihadist terror.”

@XAVIAERD says it like it is

Well, @XAVIAERD says it like it is: If you’re part of “#Queers for #Palestine,” he’ll pay for your flight to #Gaza. Go see for yourself how they treat LGBTQ+ people over there. Don’t miss this bold take on the Israel-Hamas war and the woke right.

“This isn’t Israel vs. Hamas — it’s the frontline of the free world.” On Our Middle East by @JNS_org, @Dan_Diker@KhaledAbuToameh (JCFA/@GatestoneInst) break it down: If Hamas isn’t crushed, Iran wins. The jihadis—from #Gaza to your campus—get the green light. Diker: “This war is for the West.” No fluff. No filters. A molotov attack on a bus = a “barbecue party”?

That’s what #Palestinian kids are being taught under @UNRWA  — from grade school to graduation. This isn’t education. It’s indoctrination. Marcus Sheff of @IMPACT_SE  breaks it down with @smartinezamir
