Test Yourself: How Much Do You Know About International Humanitarian Law? This quiz, designed by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, seeks to create a greater clarity about international humanitarian law during wartime. The questions present situations with which soldiers are faced and must make quick, informed decisions. Many of them are based on real incidents that occurred during Operation Cast Lead, which took place in the Gaza Strip during December-January 2008-2009. The answers to these questions qualify what actions can be classified as war crimes and which are acceptable under the law.

In order to present further clarification of these issues, the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs hosted a conference on June 18, 2009 on the subject Hamas, the Gaza War and Accountability Under International Law.
